Previously, iQOO unveiled the design of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which is set to launch on July 4, 2023, in India. Now, the company has confirmed some key specifications of the smartphone – the processor and its charging speed.
iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which will be paired with an “Independent Gaming Chip” (IG Chip) to bring “gaming experience to a new level” and deliver “enhanced graphics and smooth gameplay.”
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will also support 120W FlashCharge technology, which is advertised to charge the phone’s battery up to 50 percent in eight minutes. However, the company did not disclose the battery capacity.
In addition, iQOO stated that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will feature Motion Control, allowing users to “interact with games using intuitive phone motions that enhance the overall gaming experience.”
Furthermore, the Neo 7 Pro will be manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility in India, continuing the brand’s commitment to the Indian government’s “Make in India” campaign.
iQOO has not provided detailed specifications for the Neo 7 Pro, but rumors suggest that it is a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 7 Racing, which is currently available in China.
If true, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will feature a 6.78″ FullHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display (confirmed by Amazon.in), an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000mAh battery.
There will be a 16MP selfie shooter on the front, with a rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary unit, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
However, the Neo 7 Pro will run Funtouch OS out of the box instead of Origin OS, as the latter is exclusive to China.
