Qualcomm has officially announced that the company has extended its partnership with Sony to support the range of smartphones from the Japanese company with Snapdragon platform.
In their official release, Qualcomm stated that they will continue to support Sony’s smartphones, including premium, high-end, and mid-range devices.
With Snapdragon platform support on Sony smartphones, these products will offer improved functionality, higher performance, and a more immersive user experience for consumers.
In the same release, OH Kwon, Senior Vice President of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies and President of Qualcomm Asia-Pacific (APAC), expressed their delight in continuing their long-standing partnership with Sony to deliver premium mobile technology to their consumers.
One of the recent successes was the Xperia 1 V featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, which has been well-received by the public and customers. Qualcomm mentioned that they hope this collaboration will continue to deliver premium and compelling experiences for Sony smartphones in the future.
