Will Apple Sell Additional Straps for Apple Vision Pro Separately?

At last month’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple finally unveiled the long-awaited mixed-reality headset, Apple Vision Pro, which had been eagerly anticipated by technology enthusiasts. There has been much discussion about this new device from the company, as it marks Apple’s entry into a new technology.

While much has been said about the technology behind the VR headset, there is an interesting aspect concerning the accessories related to the device. The device itself comes with a detachable 3D fabric headband that wraps around the user’s head behind their ears. However, there is an additional strap that was not discussed by the company during the event.

The additional strap at the top appears to be very helpful in balancing the headset and preventing it from easily coming off while the user is moving. The strap briefly appeared during the WWDC presentation in one of the promotional materials, but the company did not discuss it in detail.

Apple has also not revealed the weight of the Vision Pro device. However, it is likely to be quite heavy, especially since Apple has decided to separate the battery into an external pack. Therefore, the additional strap on the head can significantly balance the weight of the device and provide a better user experience when using it.

However, since the company did not discuss this additional strap and did not mention it in the marketing materials, speculation has arisen that Apple may plan to sell it as an additional accessory and not include it in the device’s packaging.

Moreover, Apple is known to often sell separately some accessories that are actually essential for use with their gadgets. And their prices cannot be considered cheap. Do you remember the separately sold mounting display by Apple?

But this is still just speculation. So, to confirm whether this information is true, we will have to wait for confirmation from Apple.
