Realme appears to be preparing for the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 in China. The successor to the recently released Realme GT Neo 5 in February 2023 has already obtained various required certifications and is predicted to make its debut in the near future.
According to GSMArena, the Realme GT Neo 6 will have two versions with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823, both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, the difference between the two lies in the battery and charging speed.
From the 3C China certification, it is revealed that the RMX3820 will feature a dual-cell battery with a capacity of 2,540mAh each, totaling 5,200mAh. The charging speed for this version is 150W.
Meanwhile, the RMX3823 will have a dual-cell battery with a capacity of 2,225mAh each, totaling 4,600mAh. This version will offer super-fast charging support at 240W.
However, it is still unclear how the two variants will be named. Whether one of them will be called Realme GT Neo 6 Pro or simply “240W version”. Both have the exact same dimensions and weight, measuring 163.13 x 75.38 x 8.86 mm and weighing 205 grams.
Aside from that, the TEENA specifications reveal more detailed information about the Realme GT Neo 6. The phone will feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP IMX890 main camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Realme GT Neo 6 will come with 8/12/16GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128/256/512GB or 1TB. The phone will also have an IR blaster and x-axis haptic motor, and will be based on Android 13.
With the TENAA and 3C certifications in place, it indicates that the Realme GT Neo 6 will be launched soon. The prediction is that the smartphone will be released at the end of July or in the following month of August. Let’s wait and see.
