The rise of foldable smartphones in the tech world has prompted users to seek applications that seamlessly adapt to these unique devices.
Instagram, a popular platform for sharing photos and videos, has taken a step towards meeting this demand. The app, owned by Meta, has optimized its interface specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
According to reports from Sammobile, the user interface (UI) of the Instagram app has undergone a transformation, adapting beautifully to the larger display of the Z Fold 5. The navigation panel has been strategically relocated to the vertical left side of the screen, encompassing essential menu items like Home, Search, New Post, Reels, Profile, Notifications, and Messages.
While the Stories feature retains its familiar position at the screen’s top, in line with the standard Instagram layout, the feed timeline receives a significant upgrade. It now showcases photos and videos in a higher resolution, making the visual experience even more captivating.
Initially, this expanded Instagram interface update is exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, there are expectations that this same enhancement will eventually extend to other Z Fold devices in the upcoming months.
