The iQOO Z7 Pro has made its official debut in the Indian market, claiming its position as the flagship model within the mid-range Z7 Series of smartphones. This latest offering showcases significant enhancements over its predecessor, the iQOO Z7, which was unveiled just last March. Notable improvements can be found in its display, chipset, and battery capacity.
The iQOO Z7 Pro boasts a more expansive and sophisticated display featuring elegantly curved edges along its sides. With a generous 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, it delivers a Full HD+ resolution and impressively supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, fabricated on a 4nm process, clocking in at a brisk 2.8GHz. This chipset not only elevates performance but also manages power efficiently. Accompanying the chipset is a substantial 8GB of RAM, and users can choose between internal storage options of either 128GB or 256GB.
In the realm of photography, the iQOO Z7 Pro showcases a primary 64MP f/1.8 OIS sensor alongside a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Adding a touch of style, it features a Ring-LED “Aura Light” design reminiscent of the Vivo V27, and its camera module presentation is similarly appealing. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is a 16MP f/2.45 shooter neatly accommodated within a punch-hole design.
To keep users going, the iQOO Z7 Pro packs a robust 4,600mAh battery, complemented by an agile 66W fast-charging capability. Remarkably, it’s claimed to fill from 1% to 50% within a mere 22 minutes. The device operates on the Funtouch OS 13, which is built upon the foundation of Android 13.
Furthermore, the iQOO Z7 Pro incorporates an under-display fingerprint sensor, much like its predecessor, the iQOO Z7, and features an efficient vapor chamber cooling system spanning 30cm² for superior heat dissipation. It also boasts an IP52 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
