Anticipating the Redmi Note 13 Series: Four Upcoming Models and What They Bring

The imminent launch of the Redmi Note 13 Series, set to succeed the Redmi Note 12 Series, has ignited excitement within the realm of smartphone enthusiasts. Various models from this series have already made appearances in certification documents, accompanied by leaks offering insights into their specifications. The latest revelations point toward the Redmi Note 13 Series continuing the tradition of its predecessor by featuring a total of four distinctive models.

As reported by Xiaomiui, the Redmi Note 13 Series will encompass the Redmi Note 13 4G, Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro (or Pro+), and Note 13 Turbo. Let’s start with the Redmi Note 13 4G, identified by the model number N7 and codenamed “sapphire.” This variant is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, offering the choice of NFC and non-NFC configurations.

Shifting our focus to the Redmi Note 13 5G, it carries the model number N17 and goes by the codename “gold.” This particular model is poised to feature a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and is rumored to boast an impressive 1080MP primary sensor, complemented by ultra-wide and macro sensors.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+, denoted by the model number N16U and codenamed “zicron,” emerge as the most intriguing members of the lineup. These models are anticipated to sport a formidable 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary camera sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. These devices are also rumored to employ MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, with the possibility of utilizing the Dimensity 9200+ for enhanced performance.

Finally, the pinnacle of the series, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, bears the codename “garnet.” It is expected to feature the same 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP primary camera sensor but will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip (SoC).

An intriguing aspect of this leak is the suggestion that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, previously exclusive to the Chinese market, will now receive a global release without undergoing rebranding. This raises questions about whether other regions will gain access to this model.

In terms of availability, the Redmi Note 13 4G is slated for release in the European, Turkish, and Indonesian markets. Conversely, the Redmi Note 13 5G is set to target Europe and India, with select regions receiving it as a rebranded Poco phone. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ are expected to enjoy a global release, appealing to a wider audience of eager consumers.
