itel has recently launched its latest smartphone, the itel S23+, which serves as another iteration of the previously released itel S23 back in June. What sets this smartphone apart is its inclusion of a “Dynamic Bar” feature that draws parallels with Apple iPhone’s Dynamic Island.
A Feature Resembling iPhone’s Dynamic Island
The Dynamic Bar, in essence, offers functionalities akin to those found on iPhones. It allows users to check specific notifications for supported applications such as incoming calls, messages, reminders, and battery status. However, it’s worth noting that itel doesn’t provide this feature out of the box; users need to perform a software update to access and enjoy it.
Key Specifications and Display
In terms of its fundamental specifications, the itel S23+ boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. This screen supports an impressive 99% DCI-P3 color gamut and can achieve a peak brightness of up to 500 nits, all while being safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Powerful Under the Hood
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset, accompanied by a substantial 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (augmented by an additional 8 GB of virtual RAM) and a capacious 256 GB of UFS 2.0 storage. Notably, itel highlights the implementation of Atom Storage Technology, which autonomously manages data on the smartphone, ensuring sustained performance without concerns of degradation over time.
Camera Capabilities and Battery
When it comes to photography, the itel S23+ shines with its primary 50 MP camera sensor, enhanced by an auxiliary unit equipped with features like Eye Tracking and Portrait Life, all complemented by an LED Flash. On the front, there’s a 32 MP sensor neatly integrated within a punch-hole design.
Additional features of this smartphone include a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and includes NFC functionality, making it a well-rounded device catering to diverse user needs.
