Samsung Galaxy A15 4G Appears on Geekbench

Recently, benchmark scores for the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G have made their way to the internet, shedding light on this upcoming smartphone. Bearing the model number SM-A155F, the device achieved a commendable single-core score of 743 and a multi-core score of 2005 in the Geekbench version 6.2 application. Alongside these performance figures, a few specific specifications have been unveiled.

This smartphone is set to be powered by an octa-core system-on-chip (SoC), featuring 2 cores with a clock speed of 2.20 GHz and an additional 6 cores running at 2.00 GHz. There’s strong speculation that this SoC is MediaTek’s Helio G99. Furthermore, the device will come with 4GB of RAM and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, promising robust performance. Operating on the software front, it is expected to run the latest version of One UI, based on Android 14.

In terms of its physical attributes, the Galaxy A15 4G will maintain a triple-camera setup, much like its predecessor, the A14. The smartphone will sport a 6.4-inch display, adopting the Infinity U Display model for an immersive viewing experience. Charging convenience will be offered through a USB Type-C port. Additionally, it will feature a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

As of the time of writing, the release date for this next-gen Samsung smartphone, the successor to the Galaxy A14 4G, remains shrouded in mystery. However, if history is any indicator, we can anticipate the A15 4G’s debut around January 2024, followed by the introduction of the A15 5G a few months later.
