Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Benchmark Leak Reveals Major Performance Gains Over Competitors

The leaked performance benchmarks for Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor have stirred up excitement in the tech world. According to recent AnTuTu scores, this chipset achieved an impressive 3,133,570 points, significantly outpacing its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This score breaks down to 702,689 for CPU, 1,330,057 for GPU, and substantial improvements in memory and UX performance. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 outperforms both the Dimensity 9400 and Apple’s A18 Pro, particularly in GPU and CPU benchmarks.

In Geekbench testing, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 also displayed remarkable single-core and multi-core results, clocking in at 3,216 and 10,051 respectively. These scores suggest the chip could be around 30% faster in CPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Gen 4’s 4.0 GHz clock speed, courtesy of Qualcomm’s custom Oryon cores, further emphasizes its leap in computational power.

While concerns have been raised about potential thermal issues similar to the Snapdragon 888, reports suggest Qualcomm’s use of TSMC’s 3nm process node will mitigate heat and power consumption problems.
