The new iPhone 15 series is expected to be launched around September of this year. However, as usual, rumors about Apple’s latest phone are always an interesting topic of discussion.
The latest rumor suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have bezels that are only 1.55mm thick, making it the smartphone with the thinnest bezels in the world.
If the rumor, revealed by the well-known tipster IceUniverse, is true, that number would beat the current record held by Xiaomi 13 with a bezel thickness of 1.81mm.
For comparison, last year’s iPhone 14 Pro had a bezel of 2.17mm while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was 1.95mm.
Thinner bezels will allow the iPhone 15 Pro Max to have a better screen-to-body ratio, so the body dimensions are expected to be slightly reduced even with the same screen size.
Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are expected to have the same bezel thickness as their predecessors.
Some other rumors that have been widely discussed lately include the use of a USB-C port and the presence of Dynamic Island on all models.
However, for the Pro/Pro Max model, which seems to be getting a lot of upgrades, including the A17 Bionic chipset, solid-state buttons, the presence of a periscope lens, and an increase in RAM to 8GB.
Unfortunately, the various upgrades to the Pro model will also be accompanied by a price increase. Please note that all of this information is just rumors, and the launch of the iPhone 15 series is still quite far away. So, these rumors may change in the future
