Apple Explores New Camera Design for iPhone 16

Unveiling the Future: Redefining iPhone Photography with Innovative Designs.

Apple seems to be exploring a redesign of the camera bump for the base model of the iPhone 16. Reports suggest they have created several prototypes, including rearranging the camera layout vertically, and now there’s news of a new prototype in the works.

According to MacRumors, for this particular prototype design, Apple has also arranged two cameras on the iPhone 16 vertically, similar to the leaked prototypes before. However, the camera bump appears more minimalist with an oval or pill shape, while the LED is placed outside the camera frame.

In previous generations, the camera bump was square-shaped with the cameras arranged diagonally. It could be said that the camera design in this leaked prototype seems to be “taking inspiration” from the iPhone X camera design introduced back in 2017.

In addition to the camera bump, the iPhone 16 design is also rumored to feature an additional button called the Capture Button. This button is said to offer camera functions including capturing images, recording videos, and zooming in and out.

The Action Button, which was first introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro Series, will also be present in the standard model. The button itself serves various purposes, including shortcuts to open specific applications. However, the next-generation Action Button is rumored to be smaller.

It’s worth noting once again that these designs are still in the prototype stage, so there’s a possibility they may change in the future. Furthermore, the launch of the iPhone 16 lineup is still quite a ways off, scheduled for the end of the year. Which design do you prefer?
