The Asus ROG Ranger 2 wireless mechanical keyboard has been launched in China. The new keyboard comes with an Omni receiver and offers three connection options.
The ASUS ROG Ranger 2 mechanical keyboard is fully customizable and features a 98-key layout (96%). The device retains all function keys and numeric keys while supporting 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and wired connection options. The ROG Ranger 2 utilizes the ROG SpeedNova wireless connection technology, which helps reduce power consumption by up to half.
Additionally, this keyboard comes with an Omni receiver to wirelessly connect to multiple devices via a single receiver without any obstacles. However, currently, only a few devices are compatible with the Omni receiver technology.
The keyboard’s lighting effects can last up to 1,750 hours, and it uses the ROG NX Xuewu white axis body. It supports full key hot-swapping, while the upper right corner features a three-way knob to control multimedia, volume, and lighting effects.
The ASUS ROG Ranger 2 mechanical keyboard boasts a unique shock absorption design, extra space, two-color injection keycaps, and RGB lighting effects. The keyboard also supports desktop driver settings and features 3-speed feet.
The special ASUS ROG Ranger 2 mechanical keyboard can be purchased through JD.com for 1,099 yuan (~$153). There is currently no information available about its global availability.
