The auto-archive functionality represents one of the features embedded within the Google Play Store, designed to optimize storage space when required. Its mechanism involves the archiving of applications that have been identified as unused by the device’s owner for an extended period.
It’s worth noting that archiving an application through this process doesn’t entail the removal of the user’s app data. The app icon remains accessible, and upon selecting it, the app swiftly reinstalls.
