Embracing Exynos 2400: Samsung’s Move for the Galaxy S24 Series in Europe

Recent speculations are abuzz with news of Samsung’s strategic shift, as the tech giant contemplates a return to employing Exynos SoC for its highly anticipated Galaxy S24 Series. This interesting revelation comes courtesy of the well-regarded insider, Ice Universe.

In the annals of Samsung’s history, the company has consistently turned to Exynos SoCs to power its Galaxy S Series in the European market and various Asian regions. However, a departure from this norm was witnessed with the Galaxy S23 Series, as Samsung opted for a singular version featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, driven by the performance concerns surrounding the flagship Exynos SoC. This tactical maneuver led to a temporary hiatus in deploying Exynos SoCs within the Galaxy S23 Series.

Fresh insights now point to a compelling development: Samsung has meticulously prepared the Exynos 2400 SoC, poised to potentially redefine the playing field. A noteworthy contender in the realm of System on Chips, the Exynos 2400 boasts a formidable Cortex-X4 processor clocked at a commanding 3.16GHz. Its prowess extends to include a duo of Cortex-A720 cores operating at 2.9GHz, an additional triumvirate of Cortex-A720 cores with a pace of 2.6GHz, and a quartet of Cortex-A520 cores functioning at 1.95GHz.

As the anticipation builds for the Exynos 2400’s full specifications to come to light, alternate markets outside of Europe are gearing up to embrace a different path with the Galaxy S24 variant, outfitted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This alternative offering is set to provide a comparable CPU configuration, showcasing Samsung’s adaptability in catering to diverse market preferences.

Shining a light on additional insights, the reputable source, Ice Universe, provides a tantalizing glimpse into the Galaxy S24 series. According to their disclosure, the Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models are poised to feature an impressive peak screen brightness of 2,500 nits. Further adding to the allure, the Galaxy S24+ is set to captivate with a screen resolution of 3120×1440 pixels.
