Spotify, a prominent player in the realm of music streaming services, is gearing up to introduce its latest feature, AI-Enhanced DJ, to an additional 50 countries.
This widespread rollout follows the successful testing phase conducted earlier in February, which saw the feature’s trial run in the United States and Canada.
At its core, Spotify DJ is an inventive tool that tailors personalized music recommendations exclusively for premium subscription holders. Now, this offering is being taken up a notch with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI).
Beyond its sophisticated algorithm-driven song suggestions, this feature takes it a step further by delivering DJ-style commentary, all powered by AI. It’s worth noting, however, that language is a constraint as the AI DJ is currently equipped to communicate solely in English.
