Vivo’s upcoming clamshell foldable phone, rumored to be called Vivo X Flip, is expected to launch soon and there have been many leaks and rumors about its features. The latest information comes from the 3C certification database, which confirms details about its charging capabilities.
According to sources, the Vivo X Flip is expected to be announced shortly after April 2023. This may explain why there have been many leaks and rumors recently. The new phone with model number V2256A has passed certification by the Chinese authority, which was found by someone on Weibo and reported by NotebookCheck.
Based on the available information, the Vivo X Flip will come with a 44W maximum charging capacity. It is not clear if it will support faster charging with a USB-C compatible charger.
In terms of other specifications, the Vivo X Flip will have a slightly larger 4,400 mAh battery compared to the Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 4,300 mAh. It will also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor with 5G connectivity.
With rumors pointing to an April 2023 launch, more information about the Vivo X Flip is likely to emerge. Additionally, there are other foldable phones entering the market, and Google is also set to announce its Pixel Fold, possibly as early as May 2023.
