Fresh Concern Arises: Pre-2014 Posts Now Disappearing from Twitter’s Sight

In recent months, the Twitter landscape (X) has been marked by a series of recurrent issues that have garnered considerable attention.

After the recent commotion surrounding the removal of the “Block” feature on the platform, a new issue has emerged, causing frustration among users: the sudden vanishing act of links to posts made prior to 2014 on Twitter.

This concern came to light as numerous users attempted to revisit posts from the years before 2014 or even further back, only to be met with the disheartening reality that these posts are now inaccessible. According to insights from Community Context, the posts and media shared in the pre-2014 era haven’t been expunged from Twitter’s robust data servers. However, the links essential for accessing them have mysteriously faded into oblivion.

As the situation stands, Twitter has yet to provide an official response to address this growing issue. While users await clarity and resolution, there’s a collective hope that this predicament will be swiftly addressed and rectified.
