Fulfilling Its Promise: TweetDeck Now Exclusively for Subscribers

In line with its earlier announcement, TweetDeck, now rebranded as XPro, has transitioned to an exclusive platform accessible only to paying users, referred to as X Premium (formerly known as Twitter Blue). This alteration coincides with the recent pronouncement made by X “Twitter.”

On July 3, 2023, X introduced a fresh iteration of TweetDeck, complete with a range of innovative features. Simultaneously, they communicated that, within a 30-day window from that unveiling, access to TweetDeck would be restricted solely to verified or subscribing users.

While there was a slight delay in implementation, the shift is now underway. Those attempting to access TweetDeck via www.tweetdeck.twitter.com as free users will find themselves redirected to a page inviting them to subscribe to X Premium.

TweetDeck, a distinct platform enabling users to navigate multiple timelines within a single interface, assumed its new identity as XPro earlier this month, following the overarching change from Twitter to X.

Unquestionably, the evolution of X, or Twitter, into a predominantly subscription-based social media ecosystem, post its acquisition by Elon Musk in late 2023, has triggered considerable transformations. Notably, this includes widespread renaming efforts, with even the possibility of the renowned domain twitter.com making way for X.com.

Amidst all the discourse and debate, X continues to hold substantial traction, particularly within the Indonesian community. Furthermore, Threads, touted as a formidable contender against X, seems to have an arduous journey ahead in reaching comparable prominence. As the landscape evolves, are you among those who remain loyal to X?
