Samsung has just introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Galaxy A06, in Vietnam. This new model is designed for those who want a big screen experience without breaking the bank. The Galaxy A06 comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display, making it perfect for streaming videos, browsing, or gaming. It also supports a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling through apps and social media feel more responsive.
Powering the Galaxy A06 is the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which is a reliable chipset for everyday tasks and casual gaming. Samsung is offering the phone in two configurations: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If that’s not enough, there’s also a microSD card slot for expandable storage, giving you plenty of room for photos, apps, and more.
On the photography front, the Galaxy A06 keeps things simple with a 50MP main camera paired with a depth sensor. It’s not the most advanced camera setup, but it should be more than capable of handling your everyday photography needs. For selfies, there’s a basic front-facing camera that should do the job for video calls and quick snaps.
Battery life is another highlight of this device. With a 5,000mAh battery, the Galaxy A06 is built to last throughout the day, and it supports 25W fast charging to get you back up and running quickly when you need a boost.
The design of the Galaxy A06 is also worth noting. It features a back panel with vertical stripes that not only adds a bit of flair but also helps reduce fingerprint smudges. For security, the fingerprint sensor is conveniently integrated into the power button, making it easy to unlock the device.
Samsung is also committing to keeping this phone up-to-date, promising two major Android updates, which means the Galaxy A06 should stay current at least until Android 16 rolls out.
As for pricing, the Galaxy A06 is available in Vietnam at VND 3,190,000 for the 4GB/64GB model and VND 3,790,000 for the 6GB/128GB variant. If you grab one before September 30th, you’ll even get a free 25W charger, which isn’t included in the regular package.
