Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Has an Interesting Combination of Storage and Memory, What’s It Like?

In the second half of 2023, Samsung will announce a number of new flagship devices.

It is predicted that there will be new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, tablets that will replace the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and, if rumors are true, possibly a foldable tablet as well.

As we get closer to the launch of these new devices, more and more information about each device is circulating online in the past few months and will continue to do so in the future.

This week, rumors have leaked details about the possible storage and memory configurations that Samsung will offer with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, the top-end model in the next flagship tablet lineup.

Same memory configuration as the Tab S8 Ultra, but with UFS 4.0 storage And it appears that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will have a combination of storage and memory that will make everyone happy, similar to the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, especially if Samsung continues to equip its flagship tablets with a microSD slot.

There are no rumors indicating that Samsung will remove the microSD slot from the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup, so we can currently assume that the storage capacity, especially on the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, can be expanded.

Let’s go back to the memory configuration of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: reportedly, this tablet will come in variants of 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB.

And, similar to the Galaxy S23 lineup, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra variant with 128GB storage will have UFS 3.1 storage, while the other two will have UFS 4.0 storage.

Galaxy Tab S9 series will bring several improvements, including water resistance Speaking of the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, including the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, specifically the overclocked ‘For Galaxy’ version, which is currently the best flagship chipset available for Android devices and supports all models of the Galaxy S23 worldwide.

The chipset can handle anything in real-world scenarios, including tasks such as video editing.

In addition to the newer Snapdragon chipset, the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets will come with a significant improvement: all three models will have IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.

As for other changes, we will be treated to a switch from LCD panels to AMOLED, as well as slightly larger battery capacities on the Galaxy Tab S9.
