After almost a year since rumors first surfaced about Google’s upcoming tablet product, the company has officially announced the arrival of the Google Pixel Tablet, which is uniquely bundled with a Charging Dock that also functions as a multifunctional speaker.
The Pixel Tablet comes with a 10.95-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels LCD panel with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. The screen itself has been coated with anti-smudge coating and supports the USI 2.0 stylus. Its main processor uses the Google Tensor G2 chipset and the Titan M2 security chip, and is supported by 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and internal UFS 3.1 storage with options for 128 GB or 256 GB.
Equipped with front and rear cameras with 8 MP resolution, this tablet comes with a battery capacity that is claimed to be sufficient to last up to 12 hours of video streaming usage. Of course, this device runs on Android 13 OS.
One of the things that sets it apart from most tablets is the bundled Charging Speaker Dock, which is a magnetic docking station with up to 15 W charging power and a full-range 43.5 mm speaker. Google itself calls it a “Home Station” as well.
