Honor has recently introduced its latest foldable device named Honor Magic V2. This horizontal foldable device is the first of its kind, measuring under 10mm when closed. However, it seems that Honor is not yet interested in participating in the production of flip smartphones.
According to GSM Arena, the reason Honor is not interested in manufacturing flip smartphones is because they want to launch a flip device that can attract a large number of people, just like they did with the Magic V2.
The introduction of Honor Magic V2 in the foldable smartphone market indeed brings a new breakthrough, as it is one of the thinnest foldable smartphones currently available, along with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, which measures 11.2mm in thickness when folded.
However, there is still a possibility for Honor to compete in the flip smartphone market, waiting for the company to maximize its design and specifications to remain appealing for consumers to purchase.
