HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max Launch Ahead of DJI Neo

HoverAir has launched its new drones, the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max, ahead of the upcoming DJI Neo release. These new models offer significant upgrades over their predecessors and are designed to cater to both casual users and professionals looking for advanced drone capabilities.

The HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max boast impressive performance improvements. In auto-follow mode, these drones can reach speeds of up to 42 km/h, with a top speed of 60 km/h. They have a maximum flight time of 16 minutes, which is approximately 5 minutes longer than the previous X1 model. Additionally, both models can withstand winds up to level 5 and operate at altitudes as high as 5,500 meters, making them suitable for a variety of outdoor conditions.

One of the standout features of the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max is their upgraded camera systems. The X1 Pro is equipped with a lens equivalent to 17 mm and can record video in 4K at 60fps or in 1080p at 120fps, using a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor. Meanwhile, the X1 Pro Max takes things further with the ability to record in 8K at 30fps. It can also capture video in 4K at 120fps or 4K at 60fps with HDR 10-bit, offering enhanced color depth and dynamic range. The X1 Pro Max features a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor and a lens equivalent to 16 mm, providing superior image quality and detail.

Despite the enhanced capabilities, the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max remain compact and lightweight, with dimensions of 173 x 149 x 39 mm and a weight of 192 grams. The new models also include an LCD screen for easier control and settings adjustment, replacing the two-button and six-LED configuration found in the previous version. This upgrade makes the drones more user-friendly and accessible for a wider range of users.

Details on the pricing and availability of the HoverAir X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max have yet to be announced. For reference, the first-generation HoverAir X1 was priced at $349 on Amazon. With the added features and enhancements, it’s expected that the new models will be competitively priced to offer good value in the consumer drone market.

As HoverAir continues to innovate with the X1 Pro and X1 Pro Max, these drones present strong competition for DJI and other brands in the drone industry. Stay tuned for more updates on the release dates and pricing of these exciting new models.
