HTC has officially announced that it intends to launch its latest smartphone built to exclusively support the HTC-owned VIVERSE platform.
As additional information, VIVERSE is a metaverse/virtual reality platform developed by HTC since the creation of the HTC Vive device. The platform is designed to provide an infinite virtual experience and act as a bridge to other virtual universes.
Last year, the HTC Desire 22 Pro was a smartphone that had support for HTC VIVERSE. Although it looked like a typical mid-range smartphone, this device allowed users to use various VR-related applications more easily.
The new smartphone, likely named HTC U23 Pro, which will be launched by HTC, will have the same function. Previous leaks suggested that the phone will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 12 GB of RAM and run on Android 13 OS.
