Huawei Band 8 has been announced, featuring a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen.

Huawei has also announced their latest wearable device, the Huawei Band 8, at a recent launch event. This smartband features a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a battery life of up to 14 days.

In terms of hardware, there are no major changes from its predecessor, the Huawei Band 7. However, the Huawei Band 8 now has a more square design and is slightly thinner and lighter than before.

The Huawei Band 8 weighs only 14 grams without the strap, with a thickness of 8.99mm. For comparison, the Huawei Band 7 weighed 16 grams with a thickness of 9.99mm.

The screen size remains at 1.47 inches with an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 368 x 194 pixels. The smartband has thin bezels with a 65% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved edges.

The Huawei Band 8 supports fast charging, with a claim of 2 days of usage with just 5 minutes of charging. The overall battery life is 14 days.

As for sensors, it includes an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. On the software side, this smartband runs on HarmonyOS 3.1 and comes with various interesting features, including TruSleep 3.0 for sleep monitoring, TruSeen 5.0 for heart rate monitoring, and TruSport that can recognize 100 different activities.

The latest smartband from Huawei is priced at 269 CNY for the non-NFC version and 309 CNY for the NFC version. The Huawei Band 8 is available in Emerald Green, Vibrant Orange, Magic Night Black, and Sakura Powder colors.

Currently, it is only available for sale in China. It is likely that the Huawei Band 8 will also be released in Indonesia, like its predecessor, but there is no official information from Huawei Indonesia regarding the availability of this smartband.
