Infinix is known to be preparing a phone with a concept similar to the Nothing Phone, featuring a semi-transparent back panel and LED backlight. Recently, leaked images related to this device have surfaced.
The leaked images reveal that the Nothing Phone clone (2) will be named Infinix GT 10 Pro+. The phone is compared to the GT 10 Pro, which seems to have a back panel like regular smartphones.
It is not explicitly shown whether the back panel of the GT 10 Pro+ will be able to light up or not. However, considering the teaser diagram shared by Infinix some time ago, it clearly points to this speculation.
From the leaked images, the specifications of both phones can also be seen. Infinix GT 10 Pro+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, while the GT 10 Pro model will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC.
Will Infinix Be Sued by Nothing?
Nothing Phone may not offer the best specifications, but the smartphone from the British startup Nothing stands out with its unique design. So far, Nothing is the only one offering a phone with a semi-transparent back panel concept with a backlight LED strip like that.
They have also patented the concept they call the Glyph Interface. Therefore, Nothing could potentially file a lawsuit against Infinix if they wish to.
Interestingly, Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, responded to the tipster who mentioned the leaked information about the Infinix GT Pro+ with the comment “Time to prepare the lawyers,” though followed by a laughing emoticon. However, for now, it is unclear whether the GT 10 Pro+ actually imitates the concept and function of the LED strip on the Nothing Phone.
