Entrusting the flagship line to support productivity seems to be no easy task. Just like Intel, which has chosen the brand Asus to continue the existence of their flagship mini PC line, with its own considerations to ensure the presence of capabilities and qualities that always provide added value.
Mini PCs that Can Still be Developed
After previously giving up on developing and continuing the line of mini PCs that have often been their flagship products, it doesn’t mean that the blue camp has completely surrendered to providing various conveniences. Now, Intel has appointed Asus to continue the existence of these compact computers that have often been their mainstay.
According to information from Wccftech, it turns out that PCs, which are usually developed by Intel, are now given a second chance by transferring the production to one of the brands that we are familiar with, Asus.
Not only has Asus been given the right to fully develop these compact computers, but they have also been given the right to sell all existing Intel NUCs in the market.
“After making Intel NUC a pioneer in compact computers, we are looking for ways to take the computing ecosystem to the next level. Therefore, we trust Asus to continue producing products that are always beneficial for all our partners.”
Based on the statement from Intel’s Vice President, Sam Gao, it appears that the blue camp is entrusting everything to Asus to further develop these small-sized computers to make them better in the future.
Asus is Ready to Continue Intel NUC
Joe Hsieh, who serves as Asus’s COO, responded to Intel’s request to continue the development and existence of their PCs.
“We thank Intel for entrusting us with the development of Intel NUC. We believe that this collaboration will accelerate our goal to constantly bring continuous progress and innovation to mini-sized computers, which will become the standard in the future.”
Although Asus is prepared to continue the development and sales of Intel NUC, it is not yet clear whether Asus will introduce their own compact computers in the future but under a different name.
