Apple has just unveiled its latest operating system, iOS 17, at the WWDC 2023 event. In this new OS, Apple brings a host of new features and significant enhancements, including updates to Phone, FaceTime, and Messages.
Firstly, FaceTime now allows users to leave audio and video messages and comes with additional features like Reactions and Effects. In the Messages app, users can now create stickers directly from photos, enjoy a sleeker UI, and utilize the Check-In feature for location sharing. Moreover, AirDrop has been enhanced with NameDrop, making it easier to share contact information.
Among the other notable introductions is the customizable StandBy feature, the Journal app, and improvements to various applications and features.
iOS 17 is set to be released in the fall of 2023 and will be available for iPhone 14 and iPhone SE 2nd Gen devices.
