Reports indicate that Apple will be introducing a new color variant for its iPhone 14 lineup – a unique and eye-catching shade of yellow.
According to a Weibo user, the yellow color variant will be available for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. While the credibility of the account is questionable, MacRumors has found several reports that suggest Apple’s PR team is preparing for a product briefing, which could include the launch of a new iPhone color.
It’s worth noting that Apple announced a green color variant for its iPhone 13 lineup on March 8th, 2022. Therefore, if the reports about the yellow variant are accurate, we can expect official confirmation soon. The green color variant was available for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, while the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max had a color variant called Alpine Green.
It’s still unclear whether Apple will follow the same scheme as last year. Nonetheless, a yellow color variant has existed before, such as the standard yellow on the iPhone 11 in 2019, iPhone XR in 2018, and iPhone 5C in 2013.
