iPhone SE 4 Leaks: A18 Chip, 48MP Camera, and OLED Display with Price Starting at $499

Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 is shaping up to be a major upgrade, making it a noteworthy option for fans of budget-friendly Apple devices. According to recent leaks, the SE 4 is expected to be powered by the new A18 chip, bringing it to a performance level similar to the iPhone 16 base model. Not only will it pack 8GB of RAM—double that of its predecessor—but it’s also set to support Apple Intelligence, Apple’s AI-focused feature suite, enhancing its performance with advanced machine learning capabilities.

The design appears to mark a significant shift from earlier SE models. The SE 4 may sport a larger, 6.06-inch OLED display with higher resolution, offering a more immersive viewing experience compared to the 4.7-inch LCD display on the SE 3. The larger display comes alongside a rumored switch from Touch ID to Face ID, which means slimmer bezels and a sleeker overall design that aligns more closely with recent flagship iPhones.

For photography, leaks suggest the SE 4 will come with an upgraded 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera. While it won’t feature multiple lenses, the enhancements in image resolution, coupled with computational photography features, should offer a notable improvement for both everyday shots and selfies. The device will also include a larger 3,279mAh battery, supporting both 20W wired charging and MagSafe, a first for the SE lineup.

Expected to launch in early 2025, the iPhone SE 4 might debut at a starting price between $499 and $549, reflecting the enhancements in design, display, and internal hardware. This makes it a competitive choice for those who want a mid-range iPhone experience with modern features.
