In a post on Weibo, the leaker has revealed the processor, battery, and other details of the upcoming flagship phone from Xiaomi. Specifically, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 14 series later this year.
According to mysmartprice report on Sunday (28/5/2023), Xiaomi is expected to launch its next-generation flagship phone in a few months. However, rumors have already started to unveil information and details about the Xiaomi 14 series.
The first set of information comes from the Digital Chat Station, a popular leaker. Their Weibo ID has revealed the key specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
In the leak, the leaker claims that the SM8650 SoC will power the Xiaomi 14 Pro. This model number correlates with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Furthermore, the leak reveals that a 5000mAh battery will power the device. In terms of charging speed, the leak suggests that the phone will feature 50W wireless charging and 90W or 120W fast charging.
According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to come in both flat and curved screen variants. The flat variant is speculated to feature 90W fast charging, while the curved variant is said to have 120W fast charging.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is also rumored to feature an upgraded camera module with a WLG High-Lens sensor. As a reminder, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 Ultra globally last month.
This phone features a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 1-inch Leica-branded camera sensor, and more. Previously, the company launched the Xiaomi 13 Pro in the global market in February.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro also showcases a triple rear camera setup with a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX 989 main sensor in the camera department. The main lens is supported by a pair of 50MP cameras for telephoto and wide-angle shots. On the front, there is a 32MP camera.
