Latest Render Shows iPhone 15 Pro Has an Action Button

A render image of the iPhone 15 Pro had previously surfaced, revealing a number of design changes. Now, a new render image has emerged that is slightly different from the previous one and recent reports, stating that the iPhone 15 Pro will still have an Action Button.

Apple is said to have a new button called the Action Button, which is a multi-functional button that replaces the silent button. The button is expected to be similar to the one found on the Apple Watch Ultra. However, recent reports indicate that the Action Button, as well as the solid-state button concept, will not be implemented in the latest iPhone due to technical issues.

Based on the latest render obtained by 9to5Mac from a highly reliable source, the iPhone 15 Pro will still have an Action Button. However, the implementation of the solid-state button (haptic button) appears to have been abandoned, and Apple has chosen to continue using separate physical volume buttons.

It is rumored that the Action Button will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, with the intention of further differentiating the features between the Pro and standard models. As a result, the iPhone 15 and Plus models will come with a silent button, just like before since 2007.

Another detail that can be seen is the camera bump, which is larger on the iPhone 15 Pro Max than on the iPhone 15 Pro. This is likely due to the use of a periscope zoom lens on the upcoming Pro Max model, while the Pro model is believed not to have it.

From the front, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max also appear to have much thinner bezels than the previous generation. In addition, the corners are made more rounded than the iPhone 14 Series.
