MediaTek is reported to be releasing their latest flagship-class chipset soon, which will be named Dimensity 9300. According to leaks, this chipset is said to have significantly lower power consumption, up to 50% less compared to the previous generation.
According to NotebookCheck, another leak mentions that this chipset will run with four Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores. This is different from earlier rumors that stated the Dimensity 9300 would use two Cortex-X3 cores along with four Cortex-A720 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores.
Another leak mentions that the Dimensity 9300 has a 50% lower power consumption than the previous generation, and it is even claimed to have better performance or equivalent performance to the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will be launched with a 1+5+3 configuration.
Unfortunately, there is no further official information available regarding the Dimensity 9300, as MediaTek has only announced information about chipsets for automotive products at Computex 2023.
