LG recently officially launched an ultra-portable laptop called LG Gram SuperSlim, which was previously named UltraSlim when it was first introduced at CES 2023. It is LG’s thinnest laptop with a 15.6-inch OLED screen.
Apart from the name change, the other specifications of the LG Gram SuperSlim remain the same. The laptop is only 10.99mm thick and weighs only 998 grams, super thin and light for a laptop with a 15.6-inch screen.
For comparison, the 2022 Macbook Air 13 with a 13.6-inch screen has a thickness of 11.1 inches and weighs 1.2kg. In fact, the thinness of the LG Gram SuperSlim can be said to be almost equivalent to modern smartphones.
In terms of specifications, the LG Gram SuperSlim comes with an Intel Core EVO i7-1360P processor paired with Iris Xe Graphics. It is available with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
The screen itself, besides being 15.6 inches with an OLED panel, has Full HD resolution with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR certification. In terms of audio, it is equipped with dual stereo speakers with 5W Dolby Atmos.
The laptop has a 60Wh battery that is claimed to have video playback capability of up to 13 hours. There is connectivity in the form of WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, three USB-C ports, one of which supports Thunderbolt 4, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Other features such as keyboard backlighting, pre-installed Windows 11, and a webcam with infrared support for face recognition. In addition, the LG Gram SuperSlim also has military-grade durability certification.
