MediaTek’s success in the SoC market over the past few months has been bolstered by their strategic moves, including the introduction of several new SoC models like the Dimensity 6000 and 7000 series, along with the high-end MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus. With this range of SoCs, MediaTek has effectively captured the smartphone market across various price segments.

Qualcomm’s SoC shipments have also shown healthy growth from quarter to quarter, especially in its premium smartphone market, with the sales of devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 contributing significantly to the success of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Qualcomm’s updates to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, 6 Gen 1, and 4 Gen 1 have also played a role in their market recovery.

Apple, on the other hand, experienced a significant decline during this period, largely due to seasonal factors, especially in anticipation of the release of the latest iPhone series. UNISOC and Samsung’s Exynos also displayed notable growth, thanks to the success of their entry and mid-range smartphones in the market.
