After various rumors circulating about a new smartphone from Motorola in recent times, the Motorola Edge 40 has finally been officially announced.
According to Fonearena, the device will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ resolution display with a pOLED curved screen panel and a 144Hz refresh rate. Its main processor uses Dimensity 8020 with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
For the rear camera, the Motorola Edge 40 uses a 50MP main sensor that is supported by OIS, combined with a 13MP ultrawide sensor that also has macro options. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera uses a 32MP resolution sensor. The device uses a sandblasted aluminum frame with a curved vegan leather matte acrylic back, and has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Other features of the device include 5G connectivity, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a 4600mAh battery capacity with 68W TurboPower charging.
The Motorola Edge 40 will be priced at around $ 1,239.00 / £ 950.31 / € 899.99 per unit.
