Motorola has confirmed the arrival of their latest foldable phone in 2023. Ahead of its expected launch, a phone called Motorola Razr+ 2023 has appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 8GB of RAM.
This is in line with various rumors that the upcoming Razr phone will not use the latest flagship Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Nevertheless, the SD 8+ Gen 1 is still very capable of being used in current flagship phones.
The benchmark scores from the clamshell foldable phone are impressive, with 1,702 points for single-core and 4,702 points for multi-core. In addition, the phone listed as Motorola Razr+ 2023 has 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 13, likely with Moto MyUX.
Although its arrival has been confirmed, Motorola has not specifically mentioned the name of their latest Razr foldable phone. If we look at the previous generation, the name should be Motorola Razr 2023, with the Razr+ model being the highest with an external screen of more than 3.5 inches.
However, there have been many reports lately that the retail name of Motorola’s foldable phone is the Motorola Raz 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Regardless of its name, Motorola is expected to introduce the phone soon, although as of the writing of this article, there is no release date yet. We’ll just have to wait and see.
