Micro Star International (MSI) has brought a refresh to the MSI Titan GT77 gaming laptop at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, bringing more advanced features.
Through this update, MSI has given an additional name to the laptop, making it the MSI Titan GT77 HX 13V. As the name suggests, the laptop, which targets heavy game enthusiasts, is powered by the latest processor from the 13th generation Intel HX series.
The processor is also combined with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, but has not been officially announced by MSI. Rumors suggest that the MSI Titan GT77 HX 13V laptop will use the GeForce RTX 40 series GPU.
In addition to its more powerful performance, the MSI Titan GT77 HX 13V laptop also features a Mini LED display panel with a resolution of up to 4K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. These specifications are higher than the previous generation released in 2022 with a UHD resolution of 120Hz.
MSI promises that the Mini LED technology can produce very bright backlighting along with a wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, which will indulge users’ eyes when enjoying gaming or entertainment content.
It is claimed that the brightness level can exceed 1000 nits, which is 2.5 times brighter than an LCD panel. With the same screen size as before, 17.3 inches, this gaming laptop screen is also equipped with 1008 dimming zones, allowing for sharper image quality.
Furthermore, the MSI Titan GT77 HX 13V laptop screen has also obtained VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, allowing for an immersive HDR experience in gaming and streaming. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity have also been embedded in this gaming laptop.
As for its price and availability in the global and Asian markets, MSI has not provided further information.
