Nokia Introduces New Interface Design, Pure UI

After yesterday reaffirming its vision and mission, as well as changing its brand logo, Nokia’s design team has now revealed its latest interface design concept, which may appear on a range of Nokia devices and products in the future under the name Pure UI.

The design of Pure UI itself was developed with elements and guidelines focused on providing users with a new, more minimalist and “fresh” style, in line with the new Nokia logo introduced a few months ago.

Based on the stock Android interface, Nokia’s Pure UI features more precise typography and graphic elements, with high flexibility that can adapt quickly to various hardware platform sizes. In addition to bringing a simple theme, Nokia mentions that the company is focusing on integrating abstract geometric shapes in this design, while allowing customization for ease of use and understanding for end-users.

For the time being, Nokia has not yet mentioned when the Pure UI concept will be visible on some of its Nokia devices.
