OpenAI has officially launched the standalone ChatGPT application, an AI-powered chatbot, for iOS users, which can be downloaded and used for free. Users can now easily access the “original” version of ChatGPT on their devices.
The application offers a range of comprehensive features, including support for voice input using OpenAI’s own speech recognition system called Whisper. Additionally, chat history from the web version of ChatGPT and other platforms will be automatically synced if you log in with the same account.
While the application can be used for free without any reduced features, OpenAI also provides a paid version called ChatGPT Plus, which offers support for the newer GPT-4 language model. ChatGPT Plus subscribers will also receive priority access and gain access to experimental features in the future.
Currently, the official ChatGPT mobile application from OpenAI is only available for iOS in the United States and will be expanded to other countries in the coming weeks. As of now, ChatGPT is not available on the App Store in Indonesia, according to our observations.
As for the Android platform, it appears to still be under development, but OpenAI has assured that the ChatGPT application for Android will be available soon. So, Android phone users, please be patient.
