Oppo Unveils New Smartwatches: Oppo Watch 4 Pro and Watch SE

Oppo has taken the stage to introduce its latest additions to the smartwatch lineup – the Oppo Watch 4 Pro and the Oppo Watch SE. These releases coincide with the launch of the foldable Oppo Find N3 Flip phone. While the Oppo Watch 4 Pro brings a premium experience with standout features, the Oppo Watch SE offers affordability without compromising on essential functionalities.

The Oppo Watch 4 Pro maintains a design akin to its predecessor, the Watch 3 Pro. However, a series of enhancements grace both its exterior and interior. The watch now features a stainless steel build, elevating its durability, albeit slightly increasing its weight (52.3g compared to 37.5g). Positioned on its side are a crown and a menu button, while the underbelly, housing sensors, is crafted from ceramic. Its display remains a curved LTPO AMOLED panel, measuring 1.91 inches and boasting a resolution of 378 x 396 pixels.

The watch’s sensor capabilities have seen a notable upgrade, allowing comprehensive health monitoring within a swift 60 seconds. This encompasses the assessment of seven vital signs, spanning EKG readings, heart rate, blood vessel age, sleep quality, and stress levels. Furthermore, real-time blood sugar monitoring and body temperature tracking have been seamlessly integrated.

Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ chipset remains the beating heart, now supported by an increased 2GB of RAM and a steadfast 32GB of storage. The battery has undergone an uplift to 570mAh, ensuring up to five days of uninterrupted usage with all the smartwatch features active.

Additional offerings include support for eSIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and a robust 5 ATM water resistance rating, enabling the Oppo Watch 4 Pro to accompany users even during swimming sessions. Priced from 2,300 yuan, approximately Rp4.7 million, this exquisite smartwatch is currently available exclusively within the Chinese market.

Enter the Oppo Watch SE, a more budget-conscious alternative. It boasts a composite construction and showcases a 1.75-inch flat square screen, graced by an AMOLED panel delivering a resolution of 372 x 430 pixels.

Fueled by the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset, the Oppo Watch SE partners with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Tipping the scales at a mere 31g, it houses a 400mAh battery that promises a lasting performance of up to three days with all features activated, extending to 10 days in the power-saving mode.

While its suite of health sensors may not match those of the Watch 4 Pro, encompassing solely heart rate monitoring and SpO2 tracking, the Oppo Watch SE remains equipped with eSIM support, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a robust 5 ATM rating.

Retailing from 1,000 yuan, this budget-friendly smartwatch currently caters exclusively to the Chinese market.
