Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro have finally been officially announced globally. As previously rumored, both phones are rebrands of Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi Note K60 with similar specifications and design.
The rebrand also makes the design of Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro different from each other, although they are still in the same line, especially in terms of camera bump design. Poco F5 looks flatter, while Poco F5 Pro has a square-shaped camera island.
Specifications of Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro
In terms of specifications, both are slightly different in some aspects. In terms of chipset, Poco F5 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, while F5 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. However, both phones are equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Poco F5 and F5 Pro also have the same screen size of 6.67 inches with OLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the standard model has a lower resolution of only FHD+, while the Pro model comes with a WQHD+ resolution. Oh, and each is equipped with an in-display fingerprint feature.
As for the camera, both Poco F5 and F5 Pro carry a similar configuration. On the back, there are triple cameras with a 64MP OIS main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a selfie camera with a 16MP resolution punch-hole design.
The battery capacity on the Poco F5 Pro is slightly larger at 5,160mAh with 67W charging support and also 30W wireless charging. For the Poco F5 model, it has a 5,000mAh battery capacity with the same fast charging capability but without wireless charging support.
Some other features of Poco F5 and F5 Pro include liquid cooling vapor chamber, NFC, IR Blaster. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
