Meta and Ray-Ban are partnering once again to develop their latest smart glasses, named Ray-Ban Stories 2. This iteration follows the initial launch of Ray-Ban Stories in 2021.
The new version of these smart glasses is expected to come with improved features, including the integration of AI capabilities.
Ray-Ban Stories 2 is likely to incorporate Meta’s AI technology, enabling users to interact with the glasses using voice commands and gestures, without the need for hands. This AI assistant will allow users to give commands, ask questions, and perform various tasks seamlessly.
Continuing the development of the original Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses, this new version is anticipated to build upon the existing foundation. Clues about Ray-Ban Stories 2 have emerged through the code in the Facebook View app, where the device is referred to by the codename “Supernova.”
Another exciting feature is the ability to start live streaming on Facebook directly from the smart glasses. Another potential feature in the pipeline is Augmented Reality (AR), similar to Apple’s Vision Pro.
