Realme GT Neo 5 Pro Allegedly Receives Certification in China, Set to Launch Q3 2023 – Check out the Specs

In the third quarter of 2023, there will be fierce competition among brands such as iQOO, OnePlus, Redmi, and Realme as they all plan to launch their new flagship smartphones.

According to a recent post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat station, the upcoming flagship phone from Realme will be called Realme GT Neo 5 Pro.

Two new Realme phones have been approved by the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) in China. It is speculated that these are the GT Neo 5 Pro models.

The Realme phones with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 have received certification from the MIIT.

It is still unclear whether these model numbers represent different phones or variations of the same phone designed for different networks in China.

Therefore, RMX3820/3 is likely to be the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro.

Except for Realme, all other mainstream Android smartphone brands have already launched flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The latest reports suggest that Qualcomm may announce the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chip in July as an overclocked version of the SD8G2. There is speculation that the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 SoC.

Rumored Specifications of Realme GT Neo 5 Pro

According to reports, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will feature a flat 6.74-inch OLED panel offering 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

This phone will run on Android 13 OS with Realme UI 4.0 skin on top.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2-powered phone is likely to come with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage of up to 512GB.

It is also expected to have a large battery with 100W fast charging support.

For photography, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and have a new rear design, possibly resembling the Realme 11 Pro series.
