Xiaomi has just officially introduced the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is the first smartphone in the world to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
According to NotebookCheck, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which will be available outside of the Chinese market under the name POCO F5, features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness level of up to 1,000 nits.
In addition to using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, this device will have RAM options ranging from 8GB to 16GB, with storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The device also has a 5000mAh battery capacity supported by 67W fast charging.
For the main camera, the device has a 64MP resolution sensor combined with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera features a 16MP resolution sensor.
In addition to the Carbon Black, Ice Feather White, and Xinghai Blue color options, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo also has a unique Harry Potter-themed variant. For this limited edition variant, the device only has one type of RAM and storage option, which is 12GB and 256GB. Of course, for the Harry Potter limited edition, the device will be packaged in a special sales box with several supporting accessories with the same theme.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is sold in the Chinese market with prices starting from ¥1,999. Meanwhile, for the Harry Potter edition, it will be priced at around ¥2,399.
