On March 28, 2023, Redmi launched the highly anticipated Redmi Note 12 Turbo in the market. Recently, the phone has also been released in China.
One of the main highlights of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is that it is the world’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset.
Redmi released a first sales report shortly after the opening of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo sales. The report stated that the phone had become the best-selling model in the 4-6 million price segment.
Within five minutes of being available for purchase, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo broke the full-day sales record of 2019 and became one of the most popular models this year.

The phone is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. For photography, the phone has three camera units with a 64MP main camera with OIS capabilities and a 16-megapixel front camera.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is powered by the SD7+Gen2 processor with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to debut as the Poco F5 in markets outside of China.
