About a month ago, Samsung announced its partnership with Qualcomm and Google to build hardware focused on “extended reality”. Now, Samsung is reported to be applying for new trademarks consisting of Galaxy Glasses and Galaxy Ring.
According to Fonearena, Galaxy Glasses are likely to be hardware focused on AR/VR, while Galaxy Ring is the latest wearable device for Samsung’s expansion of its wider gadget portfolio.
This new trademark has been filed in the United States, so it is unlikely that we will see the first physical form of these products anytime soon. However, it can be confirmed that Samsung seems serious about working on both of these new products.
Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Glasses are designed to include a headset, headphones, and AR/VR smartphone all at once. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Ring is created as a smart ring that can monitor health, sleep patterns, just like other premium wearable devices.
