“Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset, the rumored powerhouse for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Series set to be unveiled next year, has made its first appearance on the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench. This sneak peek provides an initial glimpse into the Exynos 2400’s performance.
In Geekbench’s findings, the Samsung SM0S926B, believed to be the Galaxy S24 Plus, achieved a Single Core score of 2067 and a Multi Core score of 6520. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, slated for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, managed a Single Core score of 2234 and a Multi Core score of 6807.
While the Exynos 2400 scores may not outpace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, they still showcase an impressive boost compared to the earlier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which had a Single Core score of 1979 and a Multi Core score of 5148. This improvement is attributed to the speculated main core, believed to be the Cortex-X4, running at a clock speed of 3.21GHz.
However, it’s important to note that these scores represent only the initial performance benchmarks on Geekbench. Samsung’s official launch of the Galaxy S24 series is expected at the beginning of 2024. So, we’ll have to patiently wait for the official release to see how the Exynos 2400 truly stacks up.”
