Samsung Galaxy M15 5G: Ready to Launch in Indonesia with TKDN Certification

Samsung is seemingly gearing up to launch a new smartphone from their M-Series lineup. The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G has been spotted with TKDN certification, indicating that the device is ready for an imminent release in Indonesia.

The Samsung device with model number SM-M156B has entered the TKDN database with a local content value of 37.50 percent. From our research, it is known to be the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G which was previously introduced for the Indian market.

Samsung itself has not yet made any announcements regarding the latest Galaxy M-Series in Indonesia. However, it is strongly suspected that the specifications of the Galaxy M15 5G that will be carried will be the same as those launched in India since last April.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G

The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which has an octa-core CPU configuration with a 6nm fabrication. Meanwhile, the RAM capacity is up to 8GB and internal storage is up to 256GB which can still be expanded with microSD up to 1TB.

The screen itself uses a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. The Galaxy M15 5G screen is recorded to have a 90Hz refresh rate and a brightness level of up to 800 nits. Unfortunately, the bezel is still quite thick with the screen design still in the form of Infinity-U (waterdrop).

Just like the previous generation Galaxy M14 5G, the Galaxy M15 5G is also equipped with a jumbo battery with a capacity of 6,000mAh and supports 25W fast charging. As for the camera, it carries three rear cameras, a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro, while the selfie camera is 13MP.

In India, the Galaxy M15 5G is priced starting from Rp 2.5 million. However, of course the price will be different when it is launched in Indonesia later. What do you think is a suitable price?
